Sven in Reflective Mood
My hometown of Wimborne is not only surrounded by interesting landscapes it also has a wealth of interesting people living in and around the town.
I am normally a landscape photographer but was very privileged to photograph Sven Berlin, Wimborne's colourful and much-revered artist, writer, and sculptor.
As a photographer always looking for a picture I endeavoured to read Sven rather like a landscape. To me, his face was full of reflection and contemplation, like someone always remembering the past yet aspiring towards a greater future. Indeed, most artists and photographers will say their next piece of work will be their greatest.
