Images I wish I had Taken
13/11/2023
As a photographer I have learnt you cannot always be in the right place at the right time with your camera. In recent years my health has limited me getting around and visiting places in search of new images so I have been creative with existing images from my library. However, some members of my family have been regularly out and about with their iPhones and I am continually impressed with the images they produce. My step-daughter and her family (the Corks of Pewsey) have produced a wonderful image from a trip up the London Shard and a particularly lovely set of images of the Salisbury cathedral illuminations for Armistice Day on the 11th November 2023. More recently the Cork family in Pewsey, Wiltshire are extremely proud of the image taken of Labrador Barney, positioned very accurately as the 'pot of gold' at the end of a rainbow.
My step-son recently visited San Francisco on business and produced iPhone images of the city and of course the infamous Alcatraz. Additionally, earlier this year he and the family (the Wilkinsons of Wimborne) visited Amsterdam. The weather wasn't always hospitable on that trip but the image of a wet Amsterdam particularly appealed with the camera phone pressed against the canal boat window the image of the typical Dutch architecture through raindrops was extremely effective.
