"Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography".
George Eastman (Kodak)
Landscape is often enhanced by colour, usually through the seasons. In nature we are provided with the fresh green foliage of spring to the rich colours of autumn and the muted colours of winter, each season plays its part.
The colour is often linked to whatever is growing in the landscape, a field of wild poppies, bluebell woods in spring and areas of cultivation such as Lavender. Just occasionally I may be tempted to include man made features or architecture which has been sculptured by the light.
In this Gallery I have selected both British and European images which I have been fortunate enough to photograph - always concentrating or being attracted by light and colour.
