Many congratulations to Lando Norris in achieving World Championship status for 2025. It has not been an easy year for him but after all the issues of the season it has been a tremendous outcome. Although he lost the final GP to Dutchman Max Verstappen and with a supporting role from his Australian Team Mate Oscar Piastre, we must never forget that Lando joins a very significant UK list of 10 extremely well known and deserved names in the 75 year history of F1 World Championships.
The names he is now associated with include Mike Hawthorn, Graham Hill, Jim Clark, John Surtees, Jackie Stewart, James Hunt, Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill, Jenson Button,and Lewis Hamilton. Looking forward to the 2026 season, whatever that may bring.
