During my visit to Monaco in 1967, I found a superb location. At the end of the Casino gardens there were some stone steps and a balustrade over which it was possible to lean over and look directly into the cockpit of the cars as they passed down the hill from the Mirabeau Hotel corner to the (then) Station Hairpin. This image is of Graham Hill in the Lotus passing directly beneath me. It is no longer possible to photograph or even spectate from this location.
