Flamenco, Madrid
During a flamenco performance in a night club in Madrid, I wanted to provide a sense of colour, atmosphere and movement. I therefore selected a slow shutter speed and very slightly moved the camera during exposure. This was a film camera in 1968 so no possibility of checking if I had photographed what I had in mind. In the digital world of today ICM or Intentional Camera Movement as it is called can be checked immediately.
